Antarctica - The White Continent 15 DAYS
Our journey to the "White Continent" offers six days of exploration on the incomparably beautiful Antarctic Peninsula and the surrounding islands and waterways. The sights, sounds and emotions will stay in your mind forever — enormous tabular icebergs, hillsides covered with thousands of penguins and the excitement on deck as someone shouts, “Whales!”
Experience the Lindblad legacy of exploration in Antarctica as you travel with our experienced Antarctica expedition staff, which includes an Undersea Specialist. Zodiacs and kayaks to further our ability to examine this remote wilderness.
Antarctica, Falklands And South Georgia 25 DAYS
Decades of exploring Antarctica and the surrounding region have given the Lindblad staff the expertise and time needed to uncover important landing sites beyond the Antarctic Peninsula that we now call on with ease: the South Orkney Islands, the wildlife-rich Falkland Islands and South Georgia, perhaps the ultimate destination for jaw-dropping scenery, boundless wildlife and the captivating history of Ernest Shackleton and his crew. Walk wild beaches as a hundred thousand king penguins go about their busy lives: calling for mates, flashing their bright colors in their courtship ritual. Take a rugged hike and go by Zodiac and kayak where few have gone before. This voyage will affect the way you tell stories about travel and wildlife adventures for years to come.
Beyond The North Cape: Norway's Fjords & Arctic Svalbard 16 DAYS
Few places remain in the world where you can be assured that nature will provide highlight after unexpected highlight. The majestic fjords of Norway and the stunning glaciers of Arctic Svalbard are just such a wilderness.
As our ship sails north among the thousands of islands and skerries of Norway, the scenery suddenly becomes overpoweringly dramatic. This is the fjordlands—a region that stretches 1,000 miles. Each fjord is different from its neighbor and one could go on and on listening to the roar of waterfalls, gazing at flocks of auks in the fairytale light, and marveling at tiny villages that cling to the steep sides of the fjord walls.
Then just 350 miles north of Norway's North Cape, lies the archipelago of Svalbard, a wilderness region that few Americans know: towering ice caps, deep fjords mountains and massive sheets of ice—and the masters of the Arctic, polar bears. We have been exploring the region for eighteen years and the 117 bears sighted last season alone—a record—ensures that you'll "catch" several, too.
Land Of The Ice Bears: An In-Depth Exploration Of Arctic Svalbard 11 DAYS
A remote archipelago situated just over 350 miles north of Norway's North Cape, Svalbard is a place of deep fjords, mountains and massive sheets of ice. During summer, when the sun never sets, the tundra experiences a warm awakening. It is carpeted with wildflowers. Ice-peppered fjords ring with the thunderous sound of glacial ice crashing to the sea. Walrus raise their sleepy heads to observe us. And everyone holds their breath as a polar bear is spotted and cameras click wildly. Experience nature in its purest form in the High Arctic.
This is as far north as it is possible to travel without an icebreaker, and you’ll experience the legendary midnight sun. With our fully stabilized ice-class expedition ship, we are able to probe the ice in search of wildlife. This voyage is undertaken in the spirit of discovery. Nature is full of wonderful surprises and we are guided by her. Our pace is unhurried and our options are many, so the day-by-day itinerary below is a thoughtfully considered framework based on our long experience in this region.
Alaska, British Columbia & San Juan Islands 12 DAYS
The coast of Southeast Alaska and British Columbia is a maze of fjords, channels, rivers and glaciers gliding towards the sea. This majestic region is ideally suited for small ship cruising that enables up close and personal exploration from Seattle, Washington to Alaska's Glacier Bay National Park, including the San Juan Islands. This wilderness expedition travels through some of the most spectacular scenery in North America, sailing past mist-shrouded fjords and tidewater glaciers. These waters are among the best for whale watching, with good chances of finding humpback and orca whales. Along the way, meet people of Native American, Russian and Scandinavian ancestries. Kayak, beachcomb and explore forest trails under the guidance of our expert Naturalists. You may also join our optional land extension to Denali National Park.

Atlantic Odyssey (Trans)
Experience a leisurely, old-style crossing as we sail from the heart of Old World Lisbon, lively capital of Portugal and historic point of departure for the great maritime explorers of Renaissance times: Vasco da Gama, Cabral and Magellan. As our Atlantic Odyssey heads westward in the wake of Columbus, we explore Madeira, famed for its wine, the less-visited islands of the Canaries and the volcanic Cape Verde Islands. We cross the tropical ocean, with our Naturalists watching for marine life and providing a full program of talks on the history, geology and marine life of the Atlantic Ocean. The beautiful natural harbor of Salvador, Brazil is our final stop.
